About Cryptology

Cryptology is a new metal project based in Warsaw, Poland. The band’s name refers to the field of knowledge concerned with creating and breaking ciphers and codes.

Cryptology’s logo is a digital key with a skull. On one level, it symbolizes the contemporary world full of encrypted messages and hidden meanings, where systems, technologies, and algorithms ruthlessly shape our lives. On another level, it is a key to human consciousness, where intense emotions, fears, desires, and traumas are encoded in ways we do not fully understand. For us, music is a tool for decrypting these hidden layers.

The core idea of Cryptology is to put creativity first – energetic sound, distinctive riffs, and engaged lyrics. That is why our faces and names remain an enigma, concealed behind a skull mask.
